Kadang-kadang untuk mengambil file dari satu folder dan akan dipindahkan ke folder lain terasa lambat. Keadaan ini mungkin sangat membosankan dan bias juga bertanya dalam hati, ada apa computer koq lambat? Sebenarnya banyak hal yang menyebabkan hal demikian, salah satunya adalah ada fitur yang tidak perlu aktif tetap dipaksakan harus aktif. Jadi untuk meningkatkan dan mempercepat proses pindah tersebut Anda harus menghilangkannya dengan cara membuang tanda centang di salah satu pilihan yang tidak diperlukan tersebut.

Langkah yang arus dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut:

Klik tombol Start Windows 7, kemudian ketikkan Folder Options di Search Programa and File, lalu komputer akan menampilkan pilihan Folder Options.
Klik Folder Options tersebut, dan pilihlah tab View
Hilangkan check (v) pada Automatically type into the Search Box
Klik Apply dan klik OK untuk menutup kotak dialog tersebut.

Dengan hilangnya tanda cetang pada pilihan Automatically type into the Searh Box komputer Anda akan lebih cepat dalam hal Browsing Folder. Namun ini juga tergantung pada komputer dan Windows 7 yang digunakan. Jika komputer tidak pernah dimaintenance mungkin juga yang menjadi salah satu penyebab komputer Anda jalannya lambat.

Because of that incident, I was so diligent in seeking information about the battery in the hope of finding tips so that my battery is already showing signs of “aging” that can be durable and long lasting. Well, in this article I want to share about notebook battery tips to be durable and long lasting.

First, please note that the battery can be in-charge (rechargeable battery) that there are several types. Frequently used for general electronic goods are usually Nickel based (NiCd) and Lithium-based (Lithium-ion). For laptops, at this time almost certainly all use a Lithium-ion type. 63. Find bottlenecks
From what we've seen so far Windows 7 is already performing better than Vista, but if your PC seems sluggish then it's now much easier to uncover the bottleneck. Click Start, type RESMON and press Enter to launch the Resource Monitor, then click the CPU, Memory, Disk or Network tabs. Windows 7 will immediately show which processes are hogging the most system resources.
The CPU view is particularly useful, and provides something like a more powerful version of Task Manager. If a program has locked up, for example, then right-click its name in the list and select Analyze Process. Windows will then try to tell you why it's hanging - the program might be waiting for another process, perhaps - which could give you the information you need to fix the problem.

40. Hiding the Windows Live Messenger icon
If you use Windows Live Messenger a lot, you'll have noticed that the icon now resides on the taskbar, where you can easily change status and quickly send an IM to someone. If you prefer to keep Windows Live Messenger in the system tray, where it's been for previous releases, just close Windows Live Messenger, edit the shortcut properties and set the application to run in Windows Vista compatibility mode.
41. Customise UAC
Windows Vista's User Account Control was a good idea in practice, but poor implementation put many people off - it raised far too many alerts. Fortunately Windows 7 displays less warnings by default, and lets you further fine-tune UAC to suit your preferred balance between security and a pop-up free life (Start > Control Panel > Change User Account Control Settings).
42. Use Sticky Notes
The Sticky Notes app is both simpler and more useful in Windows 7. Launch StikyNot.exe and you can type notes at the keyboard; right-click a note to change its colour; click the + sign on the note title bar to add another note; and click a note and press Alt + 4 to close the note windows (your notes are automatically saved).
43. Open folder in new process
By default Windows 7 opens folders in the same process. This saves system resources, but means one folder crash can bring down the entire shell. If your system seems unstable, or you're doing something in Explorer that regularly seems to causes crashes, then open Computer, hold down Shift, right-click on your drive and select Open in New Process. The folder will now be launched in a separate process, and so a crash is less likely to affect anything else.
44. Watch more videos
Windows Media Player 12 is a powerful program, but it still won't play all the audio and video files you'll find online. Fortunately the first freeware Windows 7 codecs package [shark007.net/win7codecs.html] has been released, and installing it could get your troublesome multimedia files playing again.
45. Preview fonts
Open the Fonts window in Windows XP and Vista and you'll see the font names, probably with icons to tell you whether they're TrueType or OpenType, but that's about it. Windows 7 sees some useful font-related improvements.
Open the new fonts window and you'll find a little preview for every font, giving you a quick idea of how they're going to look.
The tedium of scrolling through multiple entries for each family, like Times New Roman, Times New Roman Bold, Times New Roman Bold Italic and so on, has finally ended. There's now just a single entry for each font (though you can still see all other members of the family).
And there's a new OpenType font, Gabriola, added to the mix. It's an attractive script font, well worth a try the next time you need a stylish document that stands out from the crowd.
46. Restore your gadgets
Windows 7 has tightened up its security by refusing to run gadgets if UAC has been turned off, so limiting the damage malicious unsigned gadgets can do to your system. If you've disabled UAC, miss your gadgets and are happy to accept the security risk, though, there's an easy Registry way to get everything back to normal. Run REGEDIT, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings, create a new DWORD value called AllowElevatedProcess and set it to 1. Your gadgets should start working again right away.
47. New WordPad formats
By default WordPad will save documents in Rich Text Format, just as before. But browse the Save As Format list and you'll see you can also save (or open, actually) files in the Office 2007 .docx or OpenDocument .odt formats.
48. Protect your data
USB flash drives are convenient, portable, and very easy to lose. Which is a problem, especially if they're carrying sensitive data. Fortunately Windows 7 has the solution: encrypt your documents with an extension of Microsoft's BitLocker technology, and only someone with the password will be able to access it. Right-click your USB flash drive, select Turn on BitLocker and follow the instructions to protect your private files.

20. Explore God Mode
Windows 7 has changed Control Panel a little, but it's still too difficult to locate all the applets and options that you might need. God Mode, however, while not being particularly godlike, does offer an easier way to access everything you could want from a single folder.
To try this out, create a new folder and rename it to:

The first part, "Everything" will be the folder name, and can be whatever you want: "Super Control Panel", "Advanced", "God Mode" if you prefer.

I’ve tried researching on how to install Windows XP from a USB flash drive before and when I finally managed to do it, the whole process is so unbearably slow that I thought I would NEVER install it from a USB flash drive. Recently there has been many articles about installing Windows 7 from USB flash drive and I’ve decided to give it another try and see if there is any improvement on the speed.
Installing Windows from USB has its advantage which is you don’t need to worry if the DVD drive cannot read the disc or if there is any scratches on the Windows installation DVD, and it is more convenient to carry around your USB flash drive rather than a DVD disc. Moreover, a lot of new compact small laptops or desktops doesn’t even have a CD/DVD drive. Other than that, you can even save useful software setups such as Firefox, Windows Live Messenger, 7-Zip, Orbit Downloader and etc into the USB drive so you can install them once Windows installation has been completed.

I will show you two ways (manual and automatic) on how to install Windows 7 using your USB drive.
Before we start, make sure you have at least a 4GB USB flash drive. Windows 7 installation files takes up around 3GB of space.

MAHKAMAH, melalui kes Leonard Lim Yaw Chiang lwn Director of Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Negeri Sarawak tahun 2009 telah memutuskan bahawa JPJ tidak boleh menyenarai hitam kenderaan di atas suatu kesalahan yang belum dibuktikan di mahkamah.

Tindakan JPJ menyenarai hitam diputuskan telah bertentangan dengan Perkara 13 Perlembagaan.

JPJ juga telah diarahkan membayar ganti rugi kepada pemohon dalam kes itu kerana kesusahan beliau tidak dapat menggunakan kenderaan sehingga terpaksa menyewa kenderaan lain.

Justeru di sini ingin dimaklumkan kepada pemandu-pemandu dan pemilik-pemilik kenderaan yang dinafikan hak mereka memperbaharui cukai jalan dan lesen memandu, bahawa hak anda dilindungi oleh Perlembagaan. Pihak berkuasa tidak boleh sewenang-wenang menafikan hak anda.

Berbalik kepada tawaran kerajaan memberikan diskaun pembayaran saman. Ingin dimaklumkan bahawa tindakan ini tetap salah. Isu utamanya ialah bukan jumlah bayaran kompaun atau denda itu RM300 atau RM150 atau pun RM50. Isu utamanya adalah, adakah seseorang itu benar-benar melakukan kesalahan yang didakwa sehingga mereka wajib membayar denda?

Perlu diambil perhatian bahawa untuk menguatkuasakan sesuatu peraturan dan undang-undang, sesebuah pihak berkuasa hendaklah juga mengikut peraturan dan undang-undang. Saman tidak boleh tertunggak.

Jika ada yang tertunggak maka ia bukan saman. Saman hendaklah dikemukakan di mahkamah. Orang yang disaman (OKS) hendaklah diserahkan saman dan diperintahkan hadir ke mahkamah untuk menjawab saman itu.

Jika OKS mengaku salah maka mahkamah akan memerintahkan OKS itu membayar denda. Jika denda dibayar maka saman itu selesai dan tidak akan tertunggak. Jika saman diserahkan kepada OKS tetapi OKS tidak hadir ke mahkamah, maka mahkamah akan keluarkan waran tangkap supaya OKS hadir mahkamah.

Maka proses yang sama akan berlaku iaitu OKS akan ditanya mengakui kesalahan atau meminta bicara. Jika mengaku maka akan diarahkan supaya bayar denda bagi saman itu. Maka selesailah saman itu. Tidak tertunggak. Jika tidak mengaku maka akan dibicarakan. Bergantung kepada keputusan mahkamah, jika didapati salah selepas bicara, maka akan diperintahkan untuk bayar denda. Selesailah saman itu. Jika tidak bersalah maka luput juga saman itu. Tidak tertunggak.

Soalannya kenapa ada saman tertunggak? Jawapannya pertama kerana saman-saman itu tidak pernah dibawa ke mahkamah. Kedua kerana yang dikatakan saman itu sebenarnya bukan saman tetapi notis sahaja.

Saman ekor yang dikatakan saman ini sebenarnya bukan saman tetapi sekadar notis kepada pemilik kenderaan meminta maklumat pemandu yang dikatakan memandu melebihi had laju.

Notis ini juga disertakan tawaran kompaun jika pemilik kenderaan mengaku melakukan kesalahan.

Ia dikeluarkan di bawah Seksyen 115 Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 atau dikenali dengan Notis Pol 170A. Jika pemilik tidak mengaku kesalahan maka kompaun tidak perlu dibayar kerana kompaun itu hanyalah tawaran. Jika pemilik tidak membayar kompaun sepatutnya pemilik disaman supaya hadir ke mahkamah bagi menjawab tuduhan memandu melebihi had laju.

Today Dublin-based Sybase Inc. has announced the acquisition of Germany-based micro-processing company Paybox AG, completed on December 30, 2008.The terms of the contract were not disclosed however according to Sybase officials the amount wasn’t too large. Paybox AG is not a big company which serves 20,000 merchants and covers 15 million mobile phone subscribers in Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
